Who am I?
Born and raised in the Black Hills of South Dakota, I moved to the Twin Cities to pursue my ultrasound career. I like to say I take pictures of your insides by trade and your outsides by passion. I live in Independence, Minnesota with my husband Brent and sons Jax, Beck and Jude. They make it easy to constantly have my camera out. I picked up a camera after my first son was born and refused to put it down ever since. I love capturing the moments that truly define you and your loved ones- the candid smiles and laughs that capture life at that second, because thats what truly matters afterall.
Why do I do what I do?
Candid imagery has a special place in my heart. Families, couples or kids can be themselves and get more comfortable in front of the lens, and have fun while doing it! I love capturing the expressions that you can't usually get through a controlled posing situation. While I realize that 'stand here and smile' pictures are still important, the ones I find most cherish-able, are the ones with the real smiles and giggles, the ones with that light in your eyes, the ones that show real love and emotion. THAT's why I do what I do.
